So I did this "Post In Three Parts" thing on my regular page earlier, and it took a while and ended up being clumsier to navigate than I had thought it would be. So, for fun, I'm going to see how long it takes me to construct what is basically the same post here. Here goes.
Today's post is in three parts.
PART ONE: The audio.
PART TWO: The image.
PART THREE:
The denouement. Read the following last: So I fed her and then she
trounced off to the couch for her early post-breakfast pre-dawn morning
nap.
Don't cheat and listen / look / read it out of order!
Okay, that whole thing took me about 45 seconds to build from start to finish. I wish there was a way to obscure the image ... and I think I wish I had a little more control over where exactly to place the image. I'm beginning to notice some of the shortcomings of this blogging tool as far as individuality in design is concerned, but thus far it's still the easiest to use when it comes to uploading and posting different types of media in a uniform manner.
VOX almost makes me want to migrate the ol' Tankboy site over to here. This is so freakin' user friendly it'snot even funny. Check it out. See the photo to the right? That's Uffie. I sort of wrote about her on Chicagoist yesterday. Do you know how long it took me to upload, move around, and finally place that photo? Seconds. Do you know how long it would have taken me to do the same thing on Blogger? Without the same, desired, result? Minutes. Loooooong minutes. Not that long, relly, unless you consider hoe the passing of one minute compares with the passing of one second.
Too awesome.
My only complaint, and it's minor and predicated on the understanding that it may be possible and I just haven't discovered it yet, is that I can't play with the code ... or add my own set of links to a nav bar.
Hey there ... I will begin adding stuff here in a bit. However, for now, go to my main site. It is located here. You can find all kinds of crazy musings, upcoming DJ and show dates, as well as lots of photos of hot boys and girls, cute little puppies and kitties, and the occasional poster or flyer.
